Day 1 of the September basho and Hakuho picked up his first loss. Okinoumi secured a great two-handed belt grip while Hakuho had an awkward hold around Okinoumi’s head. Okinoumi’s superior hold and position allowed him the leverage to push Hakuho out of the ring. Great start.
