In the US, we call it Clue. For those unfamiliar, there are simple rules to the board game with characters represented by a different color. Guess the culprit, the method of the kill, and the location to win. We’ll have to switch it up a bit here since the location is fixed. And since many wrestlers change the colors of their mawashi, there may need to be final adjustments to the cast of characters. So, who will claim the first kinboshi, against which yokozuna, and what will be the kimarite?
With Endo up in sanyaku and also apparently switching colors, my Colonel Mustard is gone. Though variant B of this game will bring him back in as we guess who beats a Yokozuna, not necessarily a maegashira. Maybe Kaisei’s orange could count, but that would be some funky mustard. Our スカーレット関 would be birthday boy Abi (or Daieisho). We will surely have Mrs. Peacock (Shodai) and a Mr. Green (Yutakayama).
With Takakeisho slipping, we’ve lost our Plum and its been a while since a White/Silver mawashi’s been up there but we can create new characters around Tamawashi’s and Shohozan. Shohozan’s been mixing things up lately, anyway.
Well. My first guess will be Mrs. Peacock (Shodai), taking out Hakuho (I gotta pick a hard one…Kisenosato would be too easy), with oshidashi.

I’ll say Tamawashi against Hakuho or, for a long shot, Abi against Kakuryu.
Tamawashi is a solid choice.
In the UK version, Mr Green was Rev. Green. Perhaps in the US they didn’t think an ordained minister was a suitable candidate for a murderer?
I know Giku is just outside the joi and this match-up might not happen at all but considering it’s the most repeated match up of all time, Kotoshogiku in blue to beat Kisenosato with a (surprise) yorikiri.
Since you went with Kisenasato, I’ll say Kotoshogiku over Kakuryu with oshidashi.
Looks like a good choice. Giku is a wild card and it looks like he may be facing Yokozunas again.
Giku may now be in the joi…but sadly, he won’t face his rival. Sad to think that Giku’s career may outlast Kise’s.

Apparently Clue has recently swapped out Mrs. White for Dr. Orchid. She’s a young, Asian looking plant toxicologist and “genius”. “Orchid” seems to mean a slightly purplish bright pink here. So pink mawashis now have representation! http://time.com/4401819/clue-board-game-dr-orchid-mrs-white/

Chiyomaru (he’d be Miss Scarlet, right?) takes out Kakuryu with okuridashi!
I wouldn’t mind watching him take on the Yokozuna again. With all the injuries, he may get his chance!
I’m going to play it by the numbers and say Tamawashi def. Kakuryu by Oshidashi. Tamawashi’s record against Kakuryu is 4-7, which is pretty good against a Yokozuna, and he won three of the last four – and two of those by Oshidashi. Plus, this bout will happen on day 2, so if it is a kinboshi it will probably be the first (I don’t see Tamawashi beating Hakuho on day 1 since his record is 0-10).
