News has broken that sole Yokozuna Terunofuji has withdrawn from the March tournament following Day 5 loss to Tamawashi, his second loss to a maegashira opponent this month. The cause is said to be a flareup of his heel and left knee injuries, which require one month of recovery. Onosho gets the Day 6 fusensho win. More news as we get it.

This is a weird typo.
yeah, it got fixed. long hours, short sleep, poor grade coffee,
Not surprising that he pulled out. He could not hold position, and that stable, unmovable base was what took him to Yokozuna. I hope he can get his body in order for May.
Hmmm, wonder if ….anyone else…..will follow suit…
