I seem to remember some official statement in August that Asanoyama’s jun-yusho wouldn’t be enough to start a yokozuna run. I agree with that. I’m not keen on promotions happening so soon anyway.
What’s with the tumor in Hakuho’s knee?! Any details on that?
Miyagino oyakata just said that it was benign, and that the result is that Hakuho’s rehab is longer than one would have expected from a mere arthroscopy.
