I started my sumo career via the sandanme tsukedashi system, and quickly showed my skills – I just got one make koshi during my first eleven tournaments. I reached the salaried ranks in 2018 – and has not left the top two divisions since.
I’m the only rikishi ever who showed up for his makuuchi debut, won every bout I took part in, but nevertheless got relegated straight back to juryo, going kyujo due to injury.
I’m born in Fukushima, December the 6th. But who am I?
