In day 10 action, Wakaichiro lost his match against Hokuyozan, and fell to 2-3. He will need to win both of his remaining matches to secure a kachi-koshi for the Haru basho. Tuesday’s match in Osaka ended with a slap down / slippiotoshi, and Wakaichiro was clearly disappointed.
