Georgian Sekitori Injured Knee In Day 5 Match

Late word from the Japanese sumo press that Tochinoshin is out with injuries for the remainder of the Hatus basho.

Following his day 5 match against Shodai, Tochinoshan was examined at a hospital in Tokyo, where he was suffering from a right lateral meniscus injry. He has been ordered to rest his knee for at least 2 weeks, and is currently on crutches.

Tochinoshin was scheduled to face fellow Komusubi Takayasu on Day 6.
