In injury news, Tokitenku has been diagnosed with lymphoma, a malignant form of cancer. I hope he recovers. It’s certainly possible; Eric Berry, defensive back for Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL has come back from lymphoma to help bring his team to the playoffs, winning yesterday against JJ Watt’s Texans. Then there’s the great Mario Lemieux.

Oosunaarashi is out due to the knee injury which took him out of the November tournament. Jokoryu is back into makuuchi but in his loss today, it’s clear he’s still got knee problems as well.
